COMMUNITY CONNECTION COMMITTEE
The community connection committee will be comprised of motivated, reliable and compassionate people that will empower awareness and strengthen community cooperation. This committee with have monthly meetings to discuss our plans to create an active awareness and actions that will connect our non-profit organizations and the community at large. This committee will be under the direction of Christa Berney and Kim Ciesynski.
The goal of this committee is to:
Connect Spark’s non-profit community services and service providers by creating a structured yearly event to highlight organizations in order to improve communication, complement and support each other. Also, create a chart of organizations on our website and in print.
Introduce “Community Clean Up”; to help create civic pride by creating activities, awareness and working with the city to enhance downtown and other areas of Sparks.
